The idea

Every other accessory changes what people look at. This changes what they see.

Glasses change a face. A necklace pulls the eye upward. A bag and a shoe complete a look. A belt is the only accessory that changes the proportion of the whole body — it does not decorate the silhouette, it makes one.

Why this exists

The wardrobe has been getting bigger for years. Oversized blazers, boyfriend shirts, wide-leg trousers, trench coats, knit dresses that fall straight. It is a good silhouette and it is not going anywhere.

But volume without a break has no beginning, middle or end. The clothes read unfinished, and the usual advice is to buy something smaller. That is the wrong instruction. The clothes are right. They are simply missing the line.

What we make

Belts worn at the waist, over the clothes you already own. Not to hold trousers up — to put the waist back where the cut removed it.

The catalogue stays narrow on purpose. Straps and chains, a small number of widths, in the colours that do not date: black, camel, off-white, and the hardware that goes with each. One belt changes three outfits you already have. That is the whole argument.

How we talk about it

The clothes are the reason the waist disappeared. Never you. We have no interest in the vocabulary of the shapewear aisle and you will not find it here.
